The bond behavior of reinforcing bars is highly dependent on confinement conditions and is of great importance in the design and analysis of concrete structures. This paper presents an experimental investigation into the bond behavior of plain round bars subjected to uniaxial and biaxial lateral pressures with different pressure ratios.
