Анотация
"The introduction of a system of active management of water consumption and losses in water supply systems is an extremely important task that enables the rational use of water resources and better environmental care. The funds invested in the active management system, in addition to saving water, also allow for reduced operational costs, which have proven to be very profitable in the long term period. Active monitoring and management system introduction is a complex multidisciplinary task that can be implemented in parallel with the upgrade or reconstruction of the water supply system. This paper presents the process of rationalization of new parts of the system that need to be built and,
in parallel, the introduction of real-time monitoring and control system on the case study of water supply in the municipality of Doljevac. Special attention is paid on organization of measuring-control posts. Standardized posts shapes and dimensions have been adopted. Standardization of measuring
and control equipment can enable easier interventions, comfort operator work and efficient equipment maintenance and service, which consequently results in shorter potential supply stoppages, quick
interventions, making water loss minimized and raised consumer satisfaction
